About the author

My name is Tracie Nowlin, and I live in a suburb of Tulsa with my son, Timothy, and my three cats: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. 

​One of my great loves is ballroom dancing, which was partly the inspiration for Maria, the Dancing Cow.

I don't dance much these days. I write, crochet, and watch more television than I care to admit.

I can hardly wait to introduce you to my other characters: Randy the Raindrop, Hermee the Crab, and Sarah Serpent!
